Jessica and Eric tied the knot on a rainy, chilly, misty New York day. The weather didn’t phase them; nothing could detract from how happy they were to marry one another. After getting ready and having their “first look” at the Roger Hotel, we wandered around NYC with umbrellas in hand.

Julia and Nick both live in London, but love Brooklyn: the cobblestone streets, the skyline, the bridges. They chose to tie the knot on this side of the pond and I am so grateful to have captured their day. Most of their guests had flown in from abroad, so it was wonderful to see how much support they have–even from across the pond!

Also, the bride wore a pale pink Prada dress and silver Miu Miu shoes… swoon!

Sometimes a wedding can strike that perfect balance between comfortable and classic, between rustic and refined. From the beginning it was clear that Fay wanted to create a day that hit just the right aesthetic note, while also making her guests feel at ease.

She worked with Chelsey from Gather Together and the result was just so lovely–in every sense of the word. The entire event was held at Jon’s uncle’s home, set against a bucolic backdrop where Fay and Jon have spent many afternoons by the pond. It was really nice to see a couple in a setting that has so much meaning to them. Jon is American and Fay is British, so she was able to share this special setting with her family who traveled from the U.K. for the big day.

Fay and Jon, congratulations on such a beautiful start to your marriage!

The best part of my job is the fact that I get to meet people at truly exciting times in their lives. Case in point: Raluca and Riley, who are just days away (!) from moving to London. Amidst packing and passports, they took some time out to have a New York City photo shoot to celebrate the time that they’ve had here.
